JT Decorators are a decorating company based in Nottingham, UK. They are experts in paper hanging, quality coving and artexing, and can transform any space with their creative touch. JT Decorators use only the best materials and tools, and guarantee excellent workmanship at competitive prices. Their website was launched on the 25th May 2022.
The Brief
We were thrilled when they approached us to design their website. They wanted a website that would showcase their portfolio, attract new customers, and reflect their brand identity. They were looking for a website that was modern and elegant, responsive and fast-loading as well as easy to navigate and user-friendly. They also wanted a colour scheme that was consistent with their logo and branding of gray, white and black.
What We Did
We started by conducting a thorough research on their target market, competitors, and industry trends. We then created some wireframes to outline the structure and layout of the website as well as some use-cases to investigate how visitors would interact with the website, and what they would expect.
We chose a minimalist and clean design that highlighted their work and testimonials. We used large images, subtle animations, and white space to create a visually appealing and engaging website. We also used clear headings, bullet points, and call-to-actions to make the content easy to read and navigate.
We made sure the website was responsive and optimized for all devices and browsers. We also implemented best practices for SEO, such as using keywords, meta tags, and alt texts in order to ensure that the website attained the best ranking possible in the search engines.
The Result
We built the website using HTML5 and CSS3 using the Bootstrap framework. We built the website to run on the WordPress platform so that JT Decorators would be able to manage the website and add new projects and information as needed. The website was very well received and gained much positive feedback from JT Decorators and their customers.
