LMS Contracts and Maintenance are commercial and domestic, building, design and maintenance company based in Nottingham. LMS Contracts and Maintenance have more than 20 years experience and provide provide commercial refurbishment, such as for an office, a pub, restaurant or takeaway. They were recently at the forefront of the expansion of Kokoro, a Korean-Japanese takeaway, carrying out installation and remodelling work at many of their new sites. LMS Maintenance and Contracts offer a full design and build service, as well as a project management service. Their website was launched on the 4th May 2020.
The Brief
LMS Contracts and Maintenance was starting up as a new business and needed a website to advertise their new business, and give information for potential clients. They also wanted to be able to showcase some of the projects that they had worked on, as well as have links to social media and reviews. The target audience were potential clients looking for design and build work, refurbishments and project management.
What We Did
We created some use cases of how potential visitors would use the website and how they would interact with it. Using the information gleaned from this we were able to prioritise certain elements of the website and finalise the layout. We created some draft layouts of the website and demonstrated these to the client. Following their feedback we were then able to decide on a final design. The main aim of the design was to give visitors and potential customers an overview of the company and the services offered as well as giving links and information about past projects.
We created a slideshow giving details of the services offered and information about the business. Below this we highlighted some of the previous projects of LMS Contracts and Maintenance. We also added prominent links to LMS Contracts and Maintenance social media and included some reviews from Facebook on the website.
The Result
The website for LMS Contracts and Maintenance was built from the ground up as responsive, and viewable on all devices, using HTML5 and CSS3. The website was built to run of the WordPress platform enabling LMS Contracts and Maintenance to update the website themselves and add new projects to the Recent Projects page. LMS Contracts and Maintenance purchased our Bronze Website Package, which also gave them a year of free hosting on our Business Hosting Package.

SEO and Optimisation
Upon completing the website we checked the ranking in the search engines for some search terms and checked again years later to see how the website was performing in the search rankings.

The results are quite good, obviously made more impressive by the fact that the website, being new, wasn’t appearing in the search results at all initially. But the website appears at the top of the search results in almost every instance where the brand name is mentioned, which is good going. As more projects are added by the client, the website will continue to climb the search rankings for more and more search terms.
