Switch Electrical are an electrical installation business providing their services to both the commercial and domestic sectors. They offer vehicle charging installation, solar panel installation and new lighting as well as full electrical projects. Switch Electrical went live on the 19th June 2020.
The Brief
Switch Electrical approached us with a clear vision of what they wanted from their website. They wanted a modern, responsive and user-friendly website that would showcase their range of green energy and renewable services and projects. They also wanted to highlight their environmental credentials and their commitment to customer satisfaction. They asked us to create a website that would appeal to their target audience of homeowners, businesses and public sector organisations.
What We Did
We started by conducting a thorough research on Switch Electrical’s industry, competitors and customers. We analysed their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and identified their unique selling points. We then designed a website that would communicate their message effectively and persuasively.
We chose a bright and fresh colour scheme that reflects Switch Electrical name and energy. We used a combination of white, yellow and blue to create contrast and harmony. We also used icons, images and animations to make the website more engaging and dynamic.
We organised the website into four main sections: Home, Services, Recent Projects and Contact. On the Home page, we introduced Switch Electrical’s mission, vision and values, and displayed some of their testimonials and accreditations. On the Services page, we listed their main services and provided more details on each one. On the Projects page, we showcased some of their completed projects with photos and descriptions. On the Contact page, we provided their contact information and a contact form for enquiries.
We made sure that the website is responsive and optimised for different devices and browsers. We also implemented SEO best practices to improve the website’s ranking and visibility on search engines.
The Results
We are happy to report that the website has been well received by Switch Electrical and their customers. The website has increased their online presence and generated more leads and conversions. The website has also enhanced their reputation and credibility as a professional and reliable electrical company.

Update 2022: In 2022 Switch Electrical asked us to revisit their website and change the focus of it to more directly emphasise their commitment to renewable energy. They wished to focus more on solar panel installations, electric vehicle installations and battery storage. We revamped their website, splitting their services page into separate pages for Electrical Services, Solar Panel Installation, Battery Storage and Electric Vehicle Charging. Each of the pages went into more detail about each services, what was involved and what the likely benefits were. The revamped website launched in late 2022 and once again Switch Electrical were very pleased with the outcome.
